プライバシーポリシー
本プライバシーポリシーは、アプリ「PixMeal」（以下「本アプリ」）の開発者（以下「運営者」）が、ユーザーの情報をどのように取り扱うかについて説明するものです。
1. 収集する情報とその利用目的
本アプリは、「徹底したプライバシー保護」と「アカウント不要のスマート設計」を採用しています。アカウント登録や個人情報の入力は必須ではなく、運営者がユーザーの個人情報を直接収集することは原則としてありません。
ただし、以下の特定機能を利用する場合にのみ、データが外部サービスへ送信されます。
- AI食事スキャン機能 / AI画像生成機能: ユーザーが自発的にカメラで撮影、またはアップロードした食事画像は、AI解析サービス（Google Gemini API）に送信されます。運営者側でこれらの画像をAIの学習目的に永続保存することはありません。なお、AI提供元（Google）のデータ処理方針については、各社のプライバシーポリシーをご参照ください。
- 広告（リワード広告を含む）: 本アプリでは、無料での追加利用枠等を提供するため、第三者の広告配信サービス（Google AdMob）を利用しています。広告配信サービスは、パーソナライズド広告のためにデバイス識別子等の情報を収集することがあります。EEA（欧州経済領域）および英国等のユーザーは、アプリの設定画面（Privacy Settings）からいつでもパーソナライズド広告の同意内容を変更または撤回することができます。詳細は各広告サービスのプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。
- アナリティクス: アプリの品質向上や不具合修正のため、Google Firebase Analytics等を利用し、利用画面や機能の使用状況（匿名化されたデータ）を取得する場合があります。これらに個人を特定できる情報は含まれません。
2. データの保存と保持期間
食事記録・設定データなどのすべてのユーザーデータは、ユーザーのデバイス内のローカルデータベースに保存されます。運営者がユーザーのデータに直接アクセスすることはありません。
データの保持期間:
- 食事記録・設定データ: ユーザーがアプリを使用している間、デバイス内に保持されます。アプリをアンインストールすると、すべてのローカルデータは自動的に削除されます。
- AI送信データ（食事画像）: AI解析のためにサーバーへ一時的に送信されますが、解析完了後は速やかに削除され、運営者側で永続的に保存されることはありません。
- 広告関連データ: 第三者広告サービス（Google AdMob）によって管理されます。詳細はGoogleのデータ保持ポリシーをご参照ください。
- アナリティクスデータ: Google Firebase Analyticsにより匿名化された形で収集され、Googleのデータ保持ポリシーに基づいて管理されます。
3. データの削除方法
本アプリはアカウント登録を必要としないため、すべてのデータはユーザーのデバイス内にのみ保存されています。ユーザーは以下の方法でデータを削除できます。
個別データの削除:
- 食事記録の削除: アプリ内の記録一覧から、個別の食事記録をスワイプまたは削除ボタンで削除できます。
- AIの学習データのリセット: 設定画面から「AIの理解をリセット」機能を使用して、AIがユーザーの食事傾向から学習したデータをリセットできます。
すべてのデータの削除:
- アプリのアンインストール: アプリをアンインストールすることで、デバイスに保存されたすべてのデータ（食事記録、設定、AIカスタマイズデータ等）が完全に削除されます。
- デバイスの設定からのデータ消去: お使いのデバイスの「設定」→「アプリ」→「PixMeal」→「ストレージ」→「データを消去」からも、アプリのすべてのデータを削除できます。
第三者サービスに送信されたデータについて:
- AI解析のために送信された画像は、解析完了後に自動的に削除されます。
- 広告サービスやアナリティクスが収集した匿名データの削除については、各サービス提供元（Google）のプライバシーポリシーに従い、デバイスの広告IDのリセットなどの手段をご利用ください。
4. ユーザーの権利
ユーザーは、自身のデータに関して以下の権利を有します。
- アクセスの権利: アプリ内で自身のデータを閲覧できます。
- 削除の権利: 上記の方法により、いつでもデータを削除できます。
- 同意の撤回: 広告のパーソナライズについて、設定画面からいつでも同意を撤回できます。

5. 第三者への提供
運営者は、法令に基づく場合や、上記に明記したAI機能・広告配信のためのデータ送信を除き、ユーザーのデータを第三者に販売・提供することはありません。
6. お子様のプライバシー
本アプリは13歳未満のお子様を対象としたサービスではありません。13歳未満の方の個人情報を意図的に収集することはありません。
7. 変更と改定
運営者は、必要に応じて本ポリシーを改定することがあります。重要な変更がある場合は、アプリ内の通知等でお知らせいたします。
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the developer of PixMeal ("the App") handles your information. In this document, "we" and "the Operator" refer to the individual developer of the App.
1. Data Collection and Usage
The App is designed with a privacy-first, account-free approach. We do not require account registration or collect personally identifiable information (PII).
However, certain optional features require data transmission to external services:
- AI Features (Meal Scan & Image Generation): If you choose to use the AI scanner or image generator, the meal images you upload are sent to AI processing services (such as Google Gemini API). The Operator does not permanently store these images for AI training purposes. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.
- Advertising (Including Reward Ads): The App uses third-party advertising services (Google AdMob) to offer free additional usage quotas. These services may collect device identifiers and similar data for the purpose of personalized advertising. Users in the EEA and UK can manage or revoke their consent for personalized ads at any time via the "Privacy Settings" in the App's settings menu. Please refer to each advertising provider's privacy policy for details.
- Analytics: The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand user behavior, improve app quality, and optimize our services. This service collects anonymous usage data such as screens visited, features used, and general location (country/city level). No PII is collected.
2. Data Storage and Retention
Your application data is stored in the local database on your device. We do not have access to your data.
Data Retention Periods:
- Meal logs and settings: Retained on your device for as long as you use the App. All local data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App.
- AI-transmitted data (meal images): Temporarily transmitted to AI processing servers for analysis. Images are promptly deleted after processing and are not permanently stored by the Operator.
- Advertising data: Managed by third-party advertising services (Google AdMob). Please refer to Google's data retention policies for details.
- Analytics data: Collected in anonymized form by Google Firebase Analytics and managed according to Google's data retention policies.
3. How to Delete Your Data
Since the App does not require account registration, all data is stored solely on your device. You can delete your data using the following methods:
Deleting Individual Data:
- Meal records: You can delete individual meal records from the records list by swiping or using the delete button within the App.
- AI learning data: You can reset the AI's learned understanding of your dietary preferences by using the "Reset AI Understanding" feature in the Settings screen.
Deleting All Data:
- Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all data stored on your device, including meal records, settings, and AI customization data.
- Clearing App data via device settings: You can also delete all App data by navigating to your device's "Settings" → "Apps" → "PixMeal" → "Storage" → "Clear Data."
Data Sent to Third-Party Services:
- Images sent for AI analysis are automatically deleted after processing is complete.
- For anonymized data collected by advertising and analytics services, please refer to the respective service provider's (Google) privacy policy and consider resetting your device's advertising ID.
4. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Right of Access: You can view your data within the App at any time.
- Right of Deletion: You can delete your data at any time using the methods described above.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent for personalized advertising at any time through the Privacy Settings in the App.

5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except as strictly necessary to provide the AI and advertising features described above, or when required by applicable law.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
The Operator may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notifications.
